“Whenever you come together,
each one has
a psalm, a teaching, a revelation…”

WHAT TO EXPECT

WHAT TO EXPECT

"Each one has"

The Bible paints a beautiful picture of church life where every believer takes part. In 1 Corinthians 14:26, the apostle Paul says, “Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm, a teaching, a revelation... Let all things be done for building up.”

This is what we long to see when we gather — the whole Body of Christ functioning together. Just as a human body is healthy when all its members are active, the church is built up when every believer can share what they’ve received from God.

Think of it like a spiritual potluck. Throughout the week, each of us spends time with the Lord — in His Word, in prayer, in daily life. When we gather together, we bring something from that time to share: maybe a verse that touched us, a short prayer, a hymn, or a word of encouragement. In this way, each one has something to offer, and everyone is encouraged.

If you’ve mostly experienced church as a place where one person speaks and everyone else listens, this may feel different at first. That’s okay. We’ve found that receiving from many brothers and sisters is incredibly encouraging and deeply strengthening. Our gatherings flow with the contributions of many, yet remain centered on God’s Word and the building up of His people.

We welcome you to participate at your own pace. You’re welcome to simply listen and take it in until you feel ready to join in. Over time, you may find joy in contributing your own portion to build up the church.

Above all, we rely on the Lord Himself to be with us when we gather (Matt. 18:20). He promised to build His church (Matt. 16:18), and we desire to see Him fulfill that promise among us as each one shares what they’ve received from His Word to build up the church (1 Cor. 14:4, 26).

Principles of Our Worship

Principles of Our Worship

Our gatherings are shaped by a few simple but important principles drawn from the New Testament. These guide not only what we do when we meet, but how we do it.

01

The Fellowship of Divine Life

Our meetings are alive because we have received God’s own life through Jesus Christ. We gather not for performance, but for the mutual enjoyment and expression of this divine life (1 John 1:2-3).

02

Rooted in the Word

We take the Bible as our foundation and content. Every hymn, testimony, and word of encouragement is anchored in God’s Word and His revelation of Christ, the Spirit, and God’s purpose for His people (Nehemiah 8).

03

Every Member Matters

The church is not an audience; it’s a Body. We encourage participation from every believer — whether in prayer, song, testimony, or sharing a verse — so that all may learn and be encouraged (1 Corinthians 14:31).

04

Welcoming to All Believers

We gladly receive everyone who believes in Jesus Christ as the Son of God who died for our sins and rose from the dead. Whatever your background or journey, you are welcome to worship with us (Romans 14:3; 15:7).

05

Led by the Spirit, Not Just Tradition

We value order, but not empty ritual. Our desire is to follow the Spirit’s leading in a way that builds up the church and strengthens each believer, while keeping Christ at the center (John 4:23).
